I’ve been working on tidying up my photo library and started with a new external SSD hard drive. Not wanting to make the same mistakes again I have spent considerable time plotting (watching Youtube) ways to make it work the best and I have come up with a few questions that need to be answered before a solution is found.
- Do I use one library for all of the photos or keep the current method of a library per year?
- How are the photos organised, by year, by event, by file name etc.
- Do I stick with Capture One Pro or is there better editing software available.
- Are all the photos titled Family put into one folder so they can be easily found when needed?
These has to be a better way of cataloguing your photos and I’m yet it but the advantage of going through your photo library is finding these little gems, distractions they may but they just reaffirm the photo library needed to be sorted out.
I don’t think has been posted/ published anywhere before and I wanted to share it with you. I took this photo on a island, 9 hours by boat off the coast of Broome, Western Australia. Its hot and humid but remember, your not the top of the food chain in the water, the Saltwater Crocs are, not to mention the sharks.
