I approached the old man and asked, as pointed to my camera, if he minded if I took his photo, he nodded his head yes and I took one photo, just one.
As the year comes to a close, I thought I would share my top 5 photos of 2018 and a little of the background around each photo.
The day we visited was extremely cold and rain was threatening however it certainly added to the look of the place from the road. The front of the Museum is pretty colourful and its unmissable in Silverton.

Much to my surprise I discovered mirrorless cameras to be not just good, but excellent. They are light, compact and easy to use and fulfil all my requirements of what I was wanting in a camera.

Now I’ve signed up for this before. I think it might have been two years ago but I sat on the sidelines and watched and while I was watching I was kicking myself that I didn’t participate in the course.
