The need to disconnect from the world continues to grow, slowly becoming fed up with all the noise coming from all angles of life, always demanding but never giving.

It was enjoyable experience getting out and photographing my local area as the sun set on another sweltering day and I was reminded I needed to photograph more of my local area in the future.

I persevered (what I really mean is that I wrestled with the camera whilst muttering under my breath WTF is wrong this camera) for over an hour before I headed back to the car knowing one photo might be salvageable however rest would end up in the trash as they were useless.

The relaxing mood surrounded waves rolling in whilst enjoying a cold drink watching the cargo ships sail off into the distance with their valuable cargos destoned for a new port. A good way to improve is to participate in photography challenges as they cause you to think about the theme and they do what the title says, they challenge you. And what a great way to kick off the new year and a new decade by participating in smartphone challenge
