Wordpress released Stories in the last week or so and this is my first go at them.
Walking through the bush with a good friend late yesterday afternoon had both of us looking at the way light fell through the trees and cast shadows across the path. We eventually found a spot that fitted our needs to capture the falling light and hopefully some leading lines to draw the eye down the path.
The Ferris Wheel in Freemantle screams out to be photographed, plenty of leading lines and the red gondolas are contrasted nicely against the blue sky.
Lastly, please feel free to share this blog post on your social media, especially to your family and friends who may be unable to go about their daily lives, they might appreciate the distraction, even for a few minutes.
As I go about my day, thoughts of the week’s theme float around in my mind everywhere I go and interrupt everything I do. The relaxing mood surrounded waves rolling in whilst enjoying a cold drink watching the cargo ships sail off into the distance with their valuable cargos destoned for a new port. This weeks theme for the 52 Week Smartphone challenge is ‘Love Story’ which wasn’t as easy to achieve as I wanted to avoid the usual cliches that surround Valentine’s day.
Every now and then, you spot something a little out of the ordinary and this guy certainly fitted that criteria. Never have I seen someone riding a skateboard whilst using an umbrella!
